About Us
The idea for the Rx101 Saver's Card came about by
Heritage
Consulting Group, Inc., a wealth management
company located in Cleveland Ohio. We serve individuals seeking to
strengthen their vision, finance and values. As one part of our process, we
teach our clients to give back to society through stewardship of their
resources and the sharing of time, talent or treasure.
One way we "walk the talk" is through the Rx101 Saver's Card. We found out,
quite by accident, that it was possible to make discount cards available to
people at no cost. Many discount cards with lesser discounts are being sold
to individuals. We see many things we don't like about these cards:
They overpromise discounts
They will sell them to individuals who may be
better off elsewhere (seniors and medicare Part D for example)
They make cards available to individuals with
computers/internet, but the majority of our organizations assist people
without these means
They do not service their cards - no phone
numbers on the card
The cardholders are not treated with dignity
or respect - no one is an intermediary between them and the pharmacy, when
the need arises
We have been distributing these cards to non-profit agencies throughout the
country since 2005.wanting to help
individuals in our communities, rather than waiting for our government to do
something. As we became aware of the fact that many companies charge for
this same exact card, we felt it was our duty to make it available to those who
needed it, but could not afford to pay for it. We furnish all cards,
signs and posters to individuals and organizations free of charge.
Our Vision is…of a strengthened society
in which individuals are awakened to their higher perspective, are making
more enriching decisions, are living more joy -filled lives, and are sharing
this wisdom with others.
We strive for our vision by treating every one with respect and dignity, regardless of their financial means. We feel that we are doing our part, however small, to help. We hope that you do the same, but in your own way.
